$45m – truck accident – shoulder and spinal injuries to three victims

In March of 2018 the plaintiffs driving a mid-size SUV down the 10 freeway were rear ended by a tractor trailer. The plaintiffs suffered spinal injuries. The three plaintiffs Abbas Souresrafil, Mortezah Ahmadinejad and Fernando Flores turned down an ambulance. However, within four days Mr. Souresrafil was seeing a chiropractor and not long after he had L4-L5 fusion surgery. Following his surgery and persistent pain Mr. Souresrafil received medical attention for his shoulder and had a spinal cord simulator implanted.

Mr. Florez and Mr. Ahmadinejad both had persistent pain and medical treatment which included spinal injections. In addition to spinal injections Mr. Florez was offered spinal surgery which he declined.

The plaintiffs claimed that all their injuries were a result of the collision and that their lives would never be the same as a result of the injuries they had endured.

The Defendant refuted the medical bills claiming that they were inflated and that two of the plaintiffs Mr. Florez and Mr. Ahmadinejad were exaggerating their injuries and were fine.
